We break down our Final Top 40 seniors of the 2025 class in the Tri-Regions...

The regular season officially  tips off in just 4 days. The 2024-2025 season is here and the class of 2025 will have no shortage of talented ballers that will continue hooping at all levels of college.

Putting it into perspective, there are already 10 division one commits, with nearly all of the first top 20 prospects being D1 targets or receiving legitimate interest. Couple that with D2 commits in the mix, the 2025 class certainly has plenty of depth at all levels.

For the better part of two plus years, Aaliyah Chavez (Lubbock Monterey HS) continues to be the #1 overall prospect in the country. The 5'9" do everything guard updated her Final 5 schools in September to Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and UCLA. Is without question, in a league of her own as the top overall prospect in the land.

There is something brewing in Northwest Austin and Soma Okolo (Glenn HS) is a huge reason why. The University of Miami commit remained somewhat in the mist of national talent conversation. She quickly showed during the spring, summer and TABC Showcase that she is a high major talent. Offer after offer poured in and she is now headed to South Beach, as our #2 prospect in the class.

A Top 30 National prospect, Leonna "LA" Sneed (Wagner HS) holds the #3 ranking and is a dynamite point guard who can facilitate, excel at going full throttle down the court, and will sink the perimeter jumper on you. From mid-range to well beyond the arc. Has an uncanny ability to play physical and finish with contact in deep. Sneed is committed to Utah.

The biggest riser in all of the Texas Tri-Regions, is none other than Sophia "Sophie" Zadel (Alamo Heights HS). The 6'3 low post sky-rocketed up recruiting boards and after a dominant spring and early summer, cemented herself as one of the nation's hottest recruits. She is headed to the Flat Irons of Colorado and will be joining the Lady Buffs.

Coming in at #5 is another #210 talent and versatile prospect in Alisha Peavy (Pieper HS). The 6'2" forward also put college coaches on blast with her play on the AAU circuit, and drew dozens of eyes as she balled out at the TABC Showcase. He growth and improvement as an all around threat has been a joy to watch. She is an outside threat, can handle the rock, will play physical with a tough mentality, and a motor that runs high all 32 minutes. She committed last month to Tulsa.

Here is the rest of the talented Final 40 for 2025, as the talent runs very deep with this senior group.
