                All three divisions had teams who were able to run the table at this past weekends Launch. Here are the 16U and 15U teams that did just that.

*16U Division*

Texas Hardwork Booman (4-0)
This Hardwork group mowed the competition in their first three wins, beating opponents by 19 points or more in each win. It wasn’t until their last game on Sunday afternoon that they rallied from a deficit and were able to knock of an impressive Lockdown Elite 16U group, 66-63. The quartet of guard play from Logan Gonzales (Steele HS/2026), Chris Gooden Jr., Gerald O’Neal (Judson HS), and Daimen Ramirez (Wagner/2026) led the group. No one scored more than 15pts in a contest, but in each win, the group was hitting for double figures. Gonzales is the sniper of the group, knocking down seven treys on the weekend.

Select Mambas (4-0)
As was the theme all weekend for the Mambas, they dominated their competition on the 16U level. Their closest margin of victory was 18 points in a 69-51 triumph over SA King Hoops Gold. They separated from opponents quickly, and decisively. The combination of Ethan Moreno (Antonian HS/2025) and Aaron Garcia (Holy Cross/2024). Moreno would have a game high of 21 points in their win over Kings Hoop Gold. Garcia would drop 19 points in their big win over STAT Elite. Both would take turns leading the Mambas in scoring.

*15U Division*

SA Future 2027 (4-0)
Arguably, the most impressive group of the weekend was this team of 8th graders and a 7th grader who balled out against 15U competition. From Tyler Jackson (2027), to 6’5” Amoni Francis (2027), 6’4” Aiden Martin (2027), Gavin Peck (2028), Jacob Padilla (2027), and 6’6” Xander Greyling (2027). This team is loaded with future high school talent. Francis is oozing with talent, athleticism, and upside. He will be the number one prospect in San Antonio for the 2027 class. Just as impressive is that in their four wins, they had three different leading scorers. Their closest game was a 14-point win over SA Proskills National 2026 DM.

Select Mambas (4-0)
The impressive weekend for the Mambas continued at the 15U level. Three huge wins of twenty points or more, and in their final game on Sunday afternoon they fended off a tough, resilient NEB 15U squad. Javin Smith led the Mambas scoring in two of their wins, while Gabe Madrigal also had a team high of 15 points in their win over SA Premier.

ATX Lockdown 2026 (4-0)
Head Coach Derek Dion has another young and talented group coming up. Tate Tapken (Lake Travis HS/2026) showed his versatility scoring the rock inside and out. He connected on eight three-pointers over the weekend, and led the team scoring in two of their four wins. In one contest, Brendan Ponce (Lake Travis HS/2026) showed his long range skills, sinking five treys and going for a team high 19pts in their win over AD Elite. Cole Cassidy (Round Rock HS/2026) and Alex Jacobs (Lake Travis/2026) also contributed to the offensive output as the team hit 69 points or more in three of their victories.
