A quick, strong guard who can do it all. She does a great job of facilitating and finding open teammates as well as scoring at all three levels. She is one of the top 2023’s in the state and led her Duncanville team to a 3-0 weekend after impressive blowout wins.

Mia Galbraith 5’10” G Lake Travis HS (2023)
Was a problem on both ends. She is tough as nails when it comes to rebounding and can definitely score it in bunches. She uses her frame and strength to finish in traffic down low and has a great touch around the basket. As a guard, is an above average rebounder and does a great job of keeping possessions alive with second chance points. and does not miss many chip shots from mid-range, proving she can be very efficient. Her jumper extends beyond the arc and will cause damage.

Claire Kolkhorst 5’8” SG Lake Travis HS (2024)
W
as on fire from downtown at the I-35 Girls HS Showdown! Arguably the deadliest sniper of the weekend. During their first game of the day, the Lady Cavs were going back and forth with a talented Stevens squad. As the teams exchanged leads multiple times, it was during the second half that Kolkhorst caught fire and allowed Lake Travis to gain somewhat of a comfortable lead. She hit 4 three’s in a row during the second half. She tallied 6 three’s the entire game, proving when she catches fire she can score it in bunches. Works hard to get open and is in constant move, looking for the slightest crease to get her shot off.

Layla Conley 5’8” SG Harlan HS (2023/Rice Commit)
A
n all-around guard who uses her quickness, handles, and mid-range game to her advantage. She is a three-level scorer who does a great job of finding open teammates and playing unselfishly. She can score whenever and has a variety of moves to get to the cup. An impressive guard who is committed to Rice University of Conference USA.

Kastyn Young SG 5’10” Harlan HS (2023)
Was doing it all at the I-35 HS Showdown. She can bring the ball up, beat defenders to the basket with her length and handle, use her deadly perimeter game, as well as guarding the other team’s best player on the defensive end. During Saturday’s action she showed solid defensive ability in harassing defenders and blocking numerous shots. Additionally, she wasn’t shy from facilitating for other teammates when she was doubled or swarmed by defenders. A reason why she’s one of the Top 2023’s in the Texas
Tri-Regions and a D-1 prospect.

Evangelina Jimenez 5'6" PG Somerset HS (2023)
Although the lady bulldogs didn't register a win, this young lady's performance could not be nullified. Had a I35 HS Showdown scoring high of 40pts in her first game. A bit on the small side, but plays fearless, and uses a good first step, along with a lethal perimeter game to take advantage of match-ups. Had 5 three-pointers in her 40 point outburst.
