What is the Initial Public Offering (IPO) Report? For those of you that are seasoned investors, you probably know that an IPO is the first time a stock is made available to the public for purchase or trade.

So how does this correlate to the high school talent of the Tri-Regions? Every year, you’ll have a handful of prospects who are trending upward and are looking to make a splash at the varsity level, despite not officially logging a minute of UIL action until November.

The reactionary school of thought is to question. How do you know this? Where have you seen them play? Are they physically ready? It’s not surprising at all.

What’s most surprising is that talking heads or “Self Professed” basketball experts or “Scouts” (Everyone’s a scout now), who supposedly are in gyms night and day and around the State of Texas, don’t hear about these kids until their junior or senior years. A few names will reverberate as sophomores too.
